Terms & Conditions applicable to both rooms
Check in between 4:30pm and 7:30pm on day of arrival.
Check out by 10:30am on day of departure.
Minimum stay of 2 nights.
A deep clean of rooms will be undertaken prior to your stay to minimise the risk of transmission of COVID. During your stay, rooms will not be serviced for the same reason. However, please be reassured that we have other systems in place to ensure your needs for replacement items are met.
Assistance with luggage will only be provided in exceptional circumstances.
Guests will be expected to follow any current government guidelines regarding COVID.
We regret that we are unable to accept pets at Moorcote Country Guest House.
We politely request that guests do not smoke whilst staying at Moorcote Country Guest House.
To secure your booking, please pay a deposit equal to your first night’s stay by credit card using our online booking system (on the homepage) or by telephone (01647 440966). The balance can be paid either prior to, or on day of arrival at Moorcote Country Guest House and can be paid by cash or credit card.
If a booking is cancelled less than 30 days before arrival then a charge equal to the first night of the stay will be made. In the event of a no show or booking reduction (after arrival date) the full cost of the booking is charged to the credit card used for the deposit. Unfortunately, the UK tourism sector is experiencing an ever increasing number of ‘spread bookings’ and subsequent cancellations. As a result, we are no longer able to absorb the associated costs. Therefore, If a booking is cancelled more than 30 days before arrival, the deposit will be refunded minus a £20 charge to cover administration costs.
Please note that any damage (to the property or contents) caused by guests must be paid for.
Please note that due to the age and layout of the house, we are currently only able to offer accommodation on the second floor. Those with restricted mobility may wish to phone to discuss whether the accommodation meets their particular requirements. In the event that we are unable to offer suitable accommodation, we will endeavour to 'signpost' to a more suitable local B &B or hotel. We hope in the future to be able to offer suitable accommodation for those with restricted mobility.
